This is a picture of John Cobb's latest electric. It is called the Super Sportster ARF.

Motor is a 550 with a 2:1 gearbox. It has a 48" wing span and weighs 3 1/4 pounds. It uses a 30 amp ESC; wing loading is 19 1/2 oz/sq in and the battery is a NICAD 2100 mAh. John flew it on its maiden flight June 19, 2007 with buddy box assistance from John Schuy.

This is John Cobb's Funtana 90. He is using an OS 120 engine and a Master Airscrew 16 x 6 prop.
