Sequim RC Aeronauts

AMA Club No. 1766

The Sequim RC Aeronauts is recognized and chartered by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) as Club No. 1766. The club promotes the sport of radio controlled aircraft modeling, maintains a dedicated radio control flying field, provides instruction in radio controlled aircraft piloting and actively contributes to the community through support of charitable organizations.

Our flying field is in Sequim, Washington, and is located off of Towne Road north of Woodcock, on the west side. Use of the field is restricted to members of the club, their guest and members of the Olympic RC Modelers. (directions to the field)

The club meets every third Tuesday of the month at 6:45 PM in the basement of the Sequim Bible Church, 847 North Sequim Avenue. Anyone interested in the club is welcome to attend any meeting. Membership requires the member to obtain or have a current AMA card (available on-line at www.modelaircraft.org) before solo flying at the field.

Please visit us at the meetings or at the field to learn more about the club. For some links to information about radio controlled flying, what you need to get started and where to find it, check out the Resources page.

Thanks and we’ll see you at the field.
